The single biggest mistake new pallet collectors make is mixing sizes. A truck with a mix of 48x40 and 36x36 is unsellable to commercial buyers like Florida Pallet Supply. Grade A pallets have completely intact stringers, no broken deck boards, and look almost new. Grade B has minor visible repairs (replaced boards, plug repairs) - still structurally sound. Pallets contaminated with oil, fuel, chemicals, or hazmat residue are unsellable in commercial buyback. The same applies to pallets with live pest infestation, mold, rot, or fire damage.
